Plant a Tree in Memory
A tree planted in someone's memory is a living tribute that benefits present and future generations, and is perhaps the most fitting memorial gift of all. Your memorial trees planted in National Forests will be honorable monuments and active participants in nature's plan for decades to come.
Through A Living Tribute, you can contribute to reforestation efforts by planting trees in national and community projects. Each tree planting is accompanied by a personalized commemorative card, making it an ideal way to honor a loved one, celebrate a significant life event, or offer the meaningful gift of trees.
If the tree planting is a gift, we will stamp and mail the card directly to the recipient for you. Now you can send a greeting card that makes the world greener. Every card we print is sustainably sourced, FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) Certified & acid-free, and ships carbon neutral thanks to our participation in Planet.
With each tribute, tree planting organizations commit to restoring designated National Forests and state forests and parks by planting new trees in areas most in need of recovery and revitalization.
Every 1,000 tree seedlings that we plant will restore approximately 2.8 acres of forest and create critical wildlife habitat.

Plant Trees In Honor
Plant a tree in someone's name - a unique and green gift to celebrate events such as birthdays, holidays, graduations, weddings, new births, anniversaries, or any special occasion. Now you can pay tribute to your friends and loved ones while replanting our nation's forests.
A Tree Dedication Gift starts at just $9.99 for one tree, and either the gift giver or recipient will receive a personalized card to commemorate the tree planting. Multiple trees can be dedicated. You can give a gift of trees, memorialize a loved one, celebrate a milestone, plant a tree in remembrance of a pet, or honor someone with a tree simply because they cherish nature.
Your orders help us to support conservation organizations, such as the National Forest Foundation, in restoring cherished forests across the country—from the Pacific Northwest to New England. These efforts help protect over 100 million acres of majestic trees, pristine streams and lakes, and stunning mountain landscapes.
Planting trees in someone's honor is a meaningful tribute that continues to give back for years to come. Trees provide essential benefits to the environment, making this gift truly special.
They purify the air by absorbing harmful carbon dioxide and releasing oxygen. They also help filter water for millions of Americans who rely on forests every time they turn on their faucets. Healthy forests provide vital habitats for wildlife and enrich our outdoor experiences.
